Hello all, I'm hoping to post up some cool stuff soon, as for me in general, this is the boring about me stuff.
I have a BA in traditional drawing and painting and used to be very active in that field. For the last few years, due to regular life, I haven't been able to pull out the paints and do much of anything that way. I grew up wanting to be an illustrator and am part of the generation where computers came about and began to kill off the traditional field of drawing cartoon etc. Now I have started doing digital art (which I tried to resist for many years) but now find a little interesting. My favorite artists I would say are all over the place from renaissance and baroque masters to the surrealists. Sorry, not a fan of abstraction, nothing against it, its just not my thing. If I had to name some, right now I love Caravaggio, and Alphonse Mucha.
As for my own work, it would probably be a mix between Steampunk,gothic, fetish, fantasy, and pin-up stuff. As for the "fetish part," I'm not talking about fetish art that is graphic and dirty with an in your face porn nature but more of a visual feast that is sensual and sexual in nature that deals with aesthetics and suggestive subject matter with a gothic tone, and is usually focused in a Female Domination direction. I love everything dark, mysterious, sexy, with a touch evil.
When I post stuff I will post my rules for use on an individual basis. any small parts and pieces will likely be free to use on anything anywhere with the exception of selling them in stock packs etc. I would also love to see what is made from stuff so It would be nice to post me a link so I can see it. If you read the previous paragraph about my art, don't be shy about sharing a link I am not easily shocked or offended. It is also likely that I am not going to require a ton of links or credit for small things, scrap, etc that I post up. As much as anyone likes credit I really don't demand it especially when it comes to small pieces of a larger puzzle. Have fun!
